Hello and greetings from Mexico City on this rainy but peaceful night. There’s something magical about the rain and the night, especially when you’re in a safe, calm space. It’s a beauty that brings a sense of tranquility. Tonight, I’m here hanging out with my cat, Chester—or as I affectionately call him in Mexican slang, Wero, which means "blonde" (he's a ginger tabby). Together, we’re contemplating life and working on new music. It takes a lot of concentration to make things happen, and in the process, we can often be hard on ourselves.

As I sit here, I want to share a thought that’s been on my mind. No matter what time of day it is for you when you read this, let’s try not to be so hard on ourselves. Instead, let’s aim to be our own best friends. Let’s strive for bigger things, set higher goals, and work on becoming better people. But let’s approach these goals from a place of self-compassion, not self-criticism.

Learning to be your best friend means practicing self-love, not just talking about it. Basically It think its a great idea to plant the seed in your soul of becoming your very best friend and treating yourself as...think about how your best friend treats you. Even with your shortcomings and imperfections, they always believe in you and see the best in you. They’re your number one fan. It might be a family member or a close friend, but that kind of support is so nourishing. You can start becoming that person for yourself—the best friend you’ve always wanted. This opens the door to self-validation, recognizing your strengths, forgiving your mistakes, and being kinder to yourself.

I’m talking about myself here, too. By embracing this mindset, we can become better friends, better members of society, and overall better people. I believe this approach can help anyone who’s listening. Even if it’s just one person, I’m here to share something good from my soul, from my heart.

As I work on creating new music, I’m going to try applying this mindset. It takes a lot of effort to face tasks without feeling invalidated by what you achieve or don’t achieve. Instead, let’s celebrate our accomplishments, no matter how small. Like "WOW, I did this today!" Let’s pat ourselves on the back and validate our efforts.

Thank you so much for listening. Have a beautiful night, day, morning, afternoon, or evening—whatever it is for you! Wishing you the best!

Ciao Ciao!

A Message from the Soul

Hey there, friends! How's it going? Hope all is wonderful for you.

After singing and reflecting late into the night, I am so happy to see the effects that music has and the joy it brings to people. Today, I want to share an idea that is very close to my heart: how important it is to do things with love.

No matter what you do, the essential thing is that whatever you do comes from your soul, that it is genuine and real. I firmly believe that this connects more than anything else. And always with the intention of having a positive impact, right?

Even when you are communicating any kind of emotion through music, through art... you can always bring it towards the positive, towards the constructive, towards something that helps. This is a fundamental part of my mission, and I wanted to leave it here.

Thank you for accompanying me on this musical and artistic journey. Let's keep creating and sharing from the heart.

With love,

Brenda Marie

What an incredible experience it has been to sing for audiences in Barbados, St. Lucia, Dominica, and St. Vincent over these past few weeks. You've truly inspired me in ways I can't fully express. I often find myself saying that every island in the Caribbean exudes a similar vibe—a sense of freedom and love that I haven't encountered anywhere else. Despite our differences, there's a profound connection that unites us all.

On each island, I feel like I can truly be myself—relaxed and creatively inspired. There's an inherent feeling of FREEDOM that permeates every corner.

One moment that stands out to me is encountering a gentleman from St. Vincent in the audience. Although I couldn't initially understand what he said, when he repeated himself, his words touched my soul. He spoke about how his psyche, mind, and soul were overflowing with beauty and joy from being at the concert. Then there were the young girls in Dominica, dancing, singing, and actively participating, filling my heart with love. The mothers, nodding in agreement as I spoke about love and heartbreak, and acknowledging the role of women in shaping societal ethics. And who could forget the people who sang along with us, or the young boys in the St. Vincent audience, with their playful and inspiring presence?

Thank you all so much for your incredible energy and support. I can't wait to see you again soon. Your rhythm and love resonate deeply within my heart.
